I’ve been quiet on this site for the last couple of years, because I’ve been focusing a lot of my energy working on my debut book, Foreign Return: On Art and Inhabitation, which I’m thrilled to announce has been acquired by the wonderful team at NewSouth Books and will be out in August 2026. The book, a work of literary nonfiction, draws on memoir and art criticism to search for a new language of home in a world in which the old stories of belonging no longer apply.
It’s a culmination of the writing and thinking that I’ve been doing my entire career and the questions that I’ve been grappling with for as long as I can remember.
