This one-of-a-kind retail space combines an inventive edit of homewares, jewellery and furniture with an exposed brick interior that conjures your dream New York loft. Come for technicolour textiles, colourburst jewellery and jars of wild strawberries that bring a piece of the outside in.

L’ucello
This shrine to vintage haberdashery blends homespun chic with a fashion purist’s eye for detail. It stocks timeless Liberty-print textiles, silk embroidery threads and exquisite pieces courtesy of French needlework maestro Sophie Digard.

La Belle Miette
This pint-sized patisserie combines Parisan culinary nous with the adventurous spirit of a German wunderkammer. Locals flock here for melt-in-your-mouth macarons in flavours such as Fleur de Sel caramel and Moet et Chandon.

Mamasita
Spanish for “hot babe”, this classy Mexican joint serves up inventive food alongside the freewheeling energy of an all-night tequila bar. Indulge south-of-border cravings with tostaditas stuffed with crab meat and tamarind mayo, braised lamb quesadillas and the palette-cleansing ceviche or perch a the bar with an icy michelada – a sublime blend of beer, lime juice and spice.
