Founded in 1980, SEMF is known for its innovative design approach, technical excellence and ability to master complex projects spanning various disciplines. Our work on the state-of-the-art moving roof system for Melbourne’s iconic Etihad stadium and projects such as the Royal Hobart Hospital, Darwin Port Corporation shiploaders, the Friskies pet care factory for Nestle Australia and the Sugarloaf Pipeline have cemented our reputation for thought leadership as well as our sharp commercial awareness and commitment to sustainability.
At SEMF, we owe our success to a spirit of collaboration and on partner relationships that are driven by open communication and mutual respect. We have an operational agreement with Tenova Spa, through our joint venture company Tenova-SEMF, a partnership that plays a critical role during the design and construction phases of large-scale mobile machines.

We are wholly owned by our staff and employ over 130 engineers, managers, consultants and technical specialists across offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Burnie, Launceston and Gladstone.
