The Boroondara Pocketbook

In June 2014, I was commissioned by Urban Walkabout to spend a fortnight in Melbourne to research and write The Boroondara Pocketbook, an insider’s guide to the city’s leafy and underrated eastern suburbs. I spent time interviewing locals and exploring the area’s many restaurants, shops and heritage landmarks (including one of Melbourne’s most opulent art deco cinemas!), conceived the editorial concepts and wrote copy for the entire guide.
